FDIC 2011 – Tremendously successful for Leader!

Leader North America was an exhibitor at the largest fire equipment show in the United States on March 21 – 26th at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indiana. The “Fire Department Instructors Conference” – FDIC, draws fire officers and instructors from around the world for hands on training and class-room symposiums. Attendees also have the opportunity to walk the trade show floor to see firsthand all the latest in advanced fire fighting, rescue, and other emergency response equipment.

“This year was one of the best – if not the best, FDIC Shows I have worked in over 20+ years attending FDIC”, explains Tom Fox, Director of North American Operations for Leader North America, Inc. “Besides the hundreds of attendees attracted by our display of Leader products, our Independent Representatives and our Dealers did a great job of getting their customers by the booth to see the new products – the MT280H ventilator, our Search Camera, the Wireless Life Locator System, and especially the Easy 3000 Large Flow Ventilator we had on display – thank you Reps and Dealers!”

At the FDIC show in 2010, LNA had just set up operations in the US and was establishing Reps and Dealers to facilitate the distribution of Leader products throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. “Leader now has distribution throughout North America and our customers and dealers and reps showed up in numbers at our exhibition this year”, Fox stated. “FDIC is to be congratulated, too as the overall attendance this year broke all records at over 20,000 people – I think half of them must have come through our booth!”

Leader manufacturers positive pressure ventilation fans (PPV’s), mobile large flow ventilators capable of over 100,000 cubic feet of air per minute, and technical search/rescue equipment consisting of search cameras, wireless seismic life-locator sensors and structural stabilization monitors used in both rescue and fire suppression operations.
